Coming from a middle-class Jain Marwari family, he was raised on the values of hard work, ethics, and integrity.

Interestingly, no one in his family had ever pursued a medical career, making him the first in his bloodline to enter the healthcare profession.

As a young student, his aspirations initially lay elsewhere. “I wanted to become a lawyer,” he recalls. However, as he progressed through his academic journey, new opportunities and challenges began shaping his future. Like many students of his generation, he explored engineering but quickly realized it was not aligned with his interests.

After navigating the pressures of competitive entrance examinations, he secured a government merit seat in Physiotherapy—a milestone that significantly changed how others viewed his potential.

Yet fate had other plans.

While he had begun settling into Physiotherapy, his father continued attending

medical counselling rounds, hopeful that a better opportunity would emerge. That

opportunity came in the form of a Dentistry seat. Without hesitation, his father accepted it on his behalf. “At that time, I was reluctant to start over after investing nearly a year in Physiotherapy,” says Dr. Jogani. “But looking back, my father’s decision became one of the most important turning points of my life.” The transition eventually led him to discover a profession that perfectly blended science, healthcare, and artistry. Dentistry offered him the opportunity to create healthy, confident smiles while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The journey, however, was far from easy.

After completing his dental degree, he faced another major challenge—pursuing

postgraduate studies. Financial constraints and limited seat availability made the path

difficult. Initially inclined toward Orthodontics, he experienced a moment of clarity during the seat selection process and made a spontaneous yet life-changing decision: he chose Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry.

At the time, Pediatric Dentistry was still a relatively new specialty and not among the most sought-after branches of dentistry. Many people were unaware of its scope and importance. But he chose to follow his passion rather than prevailing trends. Little did he know then that the decision would become a defining moment in his professional journey. Today, Pediatric Dentistry is one of the most dynamic and in-demand specialties in the profession.

For Dr. Jogani, the field offers the unique privilege of relieving a child’s pain, easing their fears, building their confidence, and helping them achieve healthy smiles that can last a lifetime. “Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than helping children and young adults overcome their dental challenges and smile with confidence,” he says.

Behind his professional achievements lies a story of resilience and sacrifice. Challenges often tested his determination, but he credits much of his strength to the unwavering support of his wife, Pooja, and his family. Their encouragement helped him navigate difficult periods, long working hours, and the uncertainties that often accompany

professional growth.

He also remains deeply grateful to his uncle and his father’s uncle, whose guidance and

support helped him overcome some of life’s toughest moments.

Through these experiences, he learned that success is rarely an overnight

phenomenon. Instead, it is built through consistency, patience, perseverance, and the

willingness to adapt to change. Reflecting on his journey, he shares an important lesson for young learners: “Choose a field that aligns with your interests, values, and long-term vision. Don’t be influenced solely by current trends. Think about where the future is heading and prepare yourself accordingly.”

He believes that while passion provides purpose, it must be balanced with practicality,

responsibility, and financial stability. Most importantly, he encourages young professionals never to let their passion fade, even during challenging times.

Today, he looks back on his journey with immense gratitude. Every setback taught him resilience, every challenge strengthened his character, and every unexpected turn brought him closer to his true purpose.
